The District is seeking your feedback to celebrate our successes and identify areas for growth so we can work to create the best learning and working environment for our students and staff. By taking a few minutes to complete the Spring ‘22 Panorama Family Survey you will be providing us with essential feedback about the school climate and culture of each of the BPS school(s) that your child(ren) attend(s). Once the survey is complete, the results will be analyzed by district administration, building leaders, and school improvement teams to inform school goals and actions. You can access the survey online from this link. The survey will be open from May 9, 2022 – May 24, 2022. Thank you for your continued support in the continuous improvement of our schools. Please contact your building principal if you have any questions concerning the survey.

Due to the impending snow arriving overnight tonight and continuing into Friday morning, tomorrow will be a distance learning day (January 7, 2022). Below is a review of the procedures for staff and students when we have a distance learning snow day. Snow Day with Power Zoom instruction will only occur for the first three hours of the school day. Teachers will post their Zoom schedule on their Canvas page and any materials the students may need. Snow Day without Power If most homes in Barrington are without power, students will engage in offline/ independent learning. Otherwise, instruction will occur on a case-by-case basis. • If the teacher is without power, they will post an announcement on Canvas using the app. •If the student does not have power, they will notify the school when notification becomes possible. Students will use the playlist/choice board provided by their school/teacher or from the K-3 Choice Board courtesy of Primrose Hill To sign up for Rhode Island Broadcasters text alerts regarding closings and delays, go to https://my.textcaster.com/asa/Default.aspx?ID=6d6b22e1-242f-46b3-ae4f-e01582e9a14c
