       Week Of: November 14, 2022

Important Info:

  • November Lunch Menu - Please remember that when you send lunch payment in, it needs to be in an envelope with your child’s name on it. Please do not send loose money in. Thank you!

  • Do you know someone looking for part time or full time work? Barrington schools continue to look for lunch monitors, recess monitors, daily substitute teachers and building interns.  If you are interested, or know someone who is, please visit schoolspring.com. to apply.

  • If your child is a bike rider to school, please remind them to ride safely and be aware of their surroundings. We reminded students of the safety tips and Mr. Miller and Mrs. Lewis reviewed bike safety as well.

  • VISION SCREENING will take place on Tuesday November 22nd. If your child wears glasses, please make sure they bring them to school.

    • Vision screening is an important part of pediatric preventive health care, and is required annually in grades K-5, 7 and 9 by the RI Rules and Regulations for School Health Programs. If your child does not pass the vision screening, a referral letter will be sent home recommending a comprehensive eye exam. Please provide the school nurse with results from the follow up exam. Please email the school nurse if you have any questions. Thank you!

This Week:

  • Our canned good food drive continues. Please consider donating a non-perishable food item. Some of these items will be shared with TAPIN, with our own families in need or with other local schools in Rhode Island.

Upcoming Events:

  • On November 18th at 9:00 a.m. we will have Chris Waddell visit grade 2 and 3 for his Name tags presentation. We are excited to welcome him and learn about perseverance and determination!
