Teaching and Learning:

  • Ask your first grader about their bird journals and the different birds they are learning about, today, friends in first grade shared bird books with me at quiet time and I was able to see their wonderful artwork and research.
  • Ask your third grader, our resident frog experts, what they know about frogs. Our EL Curriculum is incredibly engaging and gives us many opportunities to practice our reading, research, and research skills.

Toiletry Drive for TAP IN, Week of March 29th:
Thanks so much for the wonderful donations.  It was overwhelming and our friends at TAP IN, our local food bank, were so thrilled.
Special thanks to David Zaluski for connecting us with Yankee Dental who donated 25 kids/adult toothbrush kits for our toiletry drive.
Thank you to Katie Kelley of our PTO Board for setting this up with TAP IN.

The Kindergarten classes-Ms. Milman, Ms. DeFanti, Ms. Marra, and Mrs. McLarnon at Nayatt School recently provided their third donation of cards, notes and crafts for Meals on Wheels.  Their artwork and notes are so heartfelt and lift the spirits of those who are shut in.
They are also starting their kindness tree to celebrate and promote kindness as part of a grant with the Feinstein Foundation.
