What is New at BMS! (note: the following information is new)
*DATE CHANGE* Attention 8th Grade Families: On Tuesday, December 13, 2022 (moved from Wednesday, December 14, 2022) at 6:00 pm, we will be hosting a meeting for all 8th-grade families (parents/guardians) to discuss our annual end of the year 8th Grade Field Trip. At this meeting, our hope is to share with our families a few options and the cost implications of each one of those options. If your child would like to attend the end-of-year field trip, it is important for a family member to attend this very important meeting as we will be seeking feedback from families on a direction to pursue.
Panorama Family Survey: The District is seeking your feedback to celebrate our successes and identify areas for growth so we can work to create the best learning and working environment for our students and staff.
By taking a few minutes to complete the Fall ‘22 Panorama Family Survey you will be providing us with essential feedback about the climate and culture of each of the BPS school(s) that your child(ren) attends. Once the survey is complete, the results will be analyzed by district administration, building leaders, and school improvement teams to inform school goals and actions.
You can access the survey online from this survey link. The survey will be open until December 9, 2022.
Thank you for your continued support in the continuous improvement of our schools. Please contact your building principal if you have any questions concerning the survey.
Panorama Student Survey: During the week of December 4, 2022, BMS Students will be participating in the Panorama Student Survey. Students will have an opportunity to answer questions about the climate and culture of Barrington Middle School. Student feedback is instrumental as we will be analyzing the data to inform school goals and actions. If you wish for your child not to participate in the survey, please complete the Panorama Survey Opt-Out Form by Friday, December 2, 2022.
