Research also shows that secure firearm storage practices are associated with up to an 85 percent reduction in the risk of unintentional firearm injuries among children and teens. Barrington Public Schools is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students and urges families to read the linked information regarding firearm safety and storage so that we may partner in keeping our community safe.https://www.healthychildren.org/English/safety-prevention/at-home/Pages/Handguns-in-the-Home.aspx

Breast Cancer Fundraiser:

Hello Students, Family, Faculty, and Friends,

My name is Kasey Dillon, I am a senior at Barrington High School. For my senior project, I wanted to combine my passion for volleyball and helping people. I am so excited to be hosting a breast cancer awareness fundraiser with pre-game day t-shirt sales and a game-day raffle during our volleyball home game on October 10th, 2023 at 6:30 pm vs Middletown! In light of October being breast cancer awareness month, I am hoping to raise $5,000 to donate towards breast cancer research. For every $150 we raise, one patient can receive a mammogram and access to basic care without fear of cost. I have set up a donation website with more information, but feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

On October 10th, I would like to paint the town PINK. Please consider purchasing a special volleyball breast cancer awareness T-shirt. I plan to place the order on September 15th so please place your order by that day. Your t-shirt will count for your admission into the October 10th volleyball game! All t-shirts must be pre ordered ahead of time by clicking HERE (again, deadline is Friday, September 15th). Even if you can’t attend the game that day, it would be amazing to see these shirts around town on October 10th in support of breast cancer research. All profits from the night will go towards my donation goal!

Email me if you have any questions or concerns. I hope to see everyone at the match (BHS GYM, October 10th @6:30pm) and thank you for your purchase and donations!

Come for a set, or come for the whole game…but most importantly come to support Breast Cancer Research! Please help me spread the word so we can help others.

Thank you for your support,

Kasey Dillon
