BMS Cluster Ambassadors:

We are excited to announce that in the afternoon of March 15, 2021 we will be providing our students who have expressed interest in being Cluster Ambassadors with training on what it means to be a Cluster Ambassador. The goal of our Cluster Ambassador program is to identify students in the regular education classroom that will work towards creating an environment where all feel included. Students will learn how to best include students in conversations and work collaboratively with others in group work. This week, we will be sending out a form for all students to fill out to be a Cluster Ambassador. Their training will take place on March 15, 2021 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. This means the students will not be actively engaging in planned activities by cluster teachers/allied art teachers from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. If your child is interested in being a cluster ambassador and attending this special opportunity, please complete the form below.

Please see a recent announcement below from our interns:

In-Person Participating in Distance Learning:

An in-person student should only be participating in distance learning under three conditions.

  • The first condition is your child is sick and not able to come to school in-person but is still able to participate in class.

  • The second condition is if your child is quarantined due to a household member having Covid-19 symptoms or has tested positive for Covid-19.

  • The third condition is if your child is required to quarantine per RIDOH guidelines.

Distance learning should not be used as a tool for your child not to come to school for reasons other than listed above.  If your child fits one of the three conditions above, please call the school to notify them of the circumstance, and it is also recommended to email the teachers before the start of the school day so they can make sure they are prepared for an additional distance learning student. If your child does not fit into one of the three conditions above, the teachers will not let them into their Zoom class.
