Thank you to everyone for your support of the jog-a-thon and all the money raised! It was a tremendous amount and we will have an install date of the playground soon. I know there was some messaging that went out about leader board etc. We at Primrose school believe that we all work together as a team. This playground effort was a community effort and Primrose families have contributed greatly (even families who have moved on). All students have earned an extra recess and we will get a movie to show during lunchtime for all students around the end of the month. We believe competition has a place, but we don’t believe it is in things that are out of children’s control, such as fundraising. We always tell students to do their best and we believe all of our students do their very best every day.
We are happy to start up our Lunch Visits next week. Please remember to sign in and get a visitor sticker and join your student in the cafeteria. Please, no sharing of food other than with your child and no photos. This is a cellphone free area. Kindergarten and Grade 1 have lunch at 11:40 and Grades 2 and 3 have lunch at 12:05. Please have your ID on you in case we don’t recognize you.
There is no school Wednesday, October 9th in observance of Yom Kippur.
There is no school Monday, October 14th in observance of Columbus Day.
Picture day is October 11th.
PTO Meeting is Thursday, October 17th at 7:00 – Complimentary babysitting is provided.
Primrose will be featured on the NBC 10 News Sunrise Shoutout at 6 am on October 18th!
Spooky Stroll Friday, October 25th, 6:00-7:30.
