A New School Year!
Professional Development: Overview for 2011 –2012
Welcome Back!
One of the most important factors that lead to student success is due to the quality of the professionals in the classroom. The goal of Barrington’s professional development program is to provide teachers and support staff with opportunities to expand their knowledge, challenge their perspectives, and examine their instruction and delivery.
On Tuesday, August 23rd, at 8:15 A.M., Superintendent, Dr. Robert O. McIntyre will welcome the staff followed by NEAB/Best Meetings with the remainder of the day spent at the individual buildings.
Professional Development days for 2011 – 2012 will begin on Wednesday, August 24th and Thursday, August 25th. Please note that all professional development days are scheduled from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Together, as a Professional Learning Community, we will continue to work collaboratively towards continuous improvement focused on student achievement. I am confident that together, we will have a very productive and successful school year.
