The Barrington Public Schools Inclusion Preschool Program will be entering its fifth year in September 2012. This program is designed to provide a high quality preschool experience for children 3-5 years old. Certified teachers, teacher assistants, and therapists, will be working with children with and without disabilities, through typical preschool activities. The program has two locations; Nayatt School and Primrose Hill School. Each preschool has a morning and afternoon session running 2.5 hours per day, 5 days per week. The morning session is for children 3.0 to 3.11 years old. The afternoon session is for children 4.0 to 5 years old, not in kindergarten. All children applying must pass the Barrington Child Outreach Screening and must be 3.0 years old by June 1, 2012. Appointments can be made by calling the Pupil Personnel Services Office at 247-3145. Children will be chosen by a lottery, held on Thursday, February 09, 2012. Lottery results will be mailed by February 14, 2012. If the name of a child from a multiple birth (twins/triplets) is chosen, both/all children can enter into the classroom if space allows. For additional information, you may contact the
Pupil Personnel Office at 247-3145.
